1. Definitions
“Company” means VFF Removals Limited (CRN 16355179, VAT 489831333).
“Client” means the person or business engaging the Company’s services.
“Services” means packing, collection, transportation, storage and delivery of household or commercial goods.
2. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is only accepted once the Client has signed the Company’s written quotation or completed an online enquiry form and paid any required deposit.
The Company will issue a Confirmation of Booking specifying date(s), addresses and agreed fee.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices exclude VAT at the prevailing rate.
Deposits of 25% are due on confirmation; the balance is due on completion of the Services.
Payment methods accepted: bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Changes & Cancellations
The Client may amend or cancel up to 48 hours before the agreed moving date with no penalty.
Cancellations within 48 hours incur 50% of the total fee; no-show on moving day incurs 100%.
5. Client Obligations
All items must be ready for loading at the agreed time; any additional time is chargeable.
The Client must declare any high-value, fragile or unusual items in writing prior to moving.
6. Liability & Insurance
The Company holds Public Liability and Goods in Transit insurance up to £50,000.
Liability is limited to repair or replacement value of the lost/damaged item or the total fee paid, whichever is lower.
The Company is not liable for loss or damage arising from packing by third parties, natural wear and tear, acts of God or client’s negligence.
7. Storage Services
Storage terms, access and charges will be set out in a separate Storage Agreement.
The Company may dispose of uncollected goods after 30 days’ notice.
8. Complaints
Any claim for loss, damage or delay must be notified in writing within 7 days of delivery.
9. Data Protection
Personal data collected will be used solely to provide and improve our Services (see our Privacy Policy).
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
